So Fruity Web Design Bolton Stays Ahead of Google

on Dec 12 in Website Design Bolton Manchester tagged , , by So Fruity Web Design (Admin)

Okay, so we’ve already looked at many of the Benefits in our previous blog entries of having a website designed for you by So Fruity Web Design in Bolton. Quite honestly, there aren’t any drawbacks at all of having a website. Unless, it’s poorly designed, a DIY job or it doesn’t sit well on the first pages of the search engines….if that’s the case you might as well hand your money & your business over to your competitors.

So, hopefully we’ve sold you on the Benefits to your business of having a website and hopefully we’ve sold you on the idea that So Fruity Web Design are the right people to choose to build your website.

Now, let’s imagine that you’ve paid £250 to So Fruity Web Design in Bolton and you now have your brand new website live on the internet, resplendent with all it’s social media accounts and our secret ‘under the bonnet’ workings to help your site rank well. So what’s next?

Well, bearing in mind that Google is the 600lb gorilla in the room and it’s search engines change the way they rank websites frequently  -  almost every 17.5 hours in 2008  -  you’ll need someone to weather the storm and show you how to ensure your website remains at the top of the search engines.

This is why So Fruity Web Design is your new best friend. Believe me, we stay a few steps ahead of Google and our competitors to ensure that you also stay a few steps ahead of your competitors.

You see, the secret is that we’re not just a website design business. We use the resources from one of our Sister companies to ensure that we’re equipped with the latest techniques from all over the world. This means that a member of our staff travels the world (usually to sunnier climes over in the U.S.) to sit through training workshops that quite frankly would bore the pants of you & I. But they bring the techniques back to us & we pass them on to you.

How do we do this?  We send our clients occasional emails to say there’s a new video in the Private Clients login area to update you on what the latest changes are. These are video-shorts, usually lasting no more than 5 minutes. These videos are step-by-step guides to say, log in to your account, click on this and type in this…..and that’s all there is to it!  That way you’ll stay ahead of the crowd and your competitors.

So, what’s the next big toy that Google is rolling out for us?   It’s called ‘Google Goggles.’ It’s a visual search application. Which to you and I means that, instead of one of our customers searching for our businesses by typing in our company name, etc into the internet, now they can just take a photo using their phone and it will return local business information.

Have a look at the Google Goggles video below (& don’t worry if you don’t understand it, our global ‘techie’ traveller member of staff does & will ensure your business benefits from these changes when the time is right).
